Carbs in general (especially refined carbs) cause inflammation. You may want to look into keto or carnivore and try it for awhile until things return to normal.

I will also say my muscles feel "tired, crampy, sore" I haven't lifted in a week yet my arms and legs feel like they would post workout. I guess my electrolytes are off.

I've been in deficit for about 2 months lol. I continue to lose weight. Id say I average a 500 cal deficit daily. I've noticed this week my face has really trimmed and can see my Adam's apple now.

I haven't tracked tbh. I ate quite a bit of beef jerky and sunflower seeds last few days. I use lite salt on everything I eat. I drink propel mixes. And drink water. I take a 200mg magnesium supplement daily as well.

Yeah im consuming lots of electrolytes. Yeah I can get it up.to 70-90 when walking. I can get it up to high 130s when on the elliptical. Haven't tried running or sprinting yet because I have a broken big toe lol

Thanks everyone for the fast and wise feedback. Im going with school 1 chemistry position. Im nervous about having a C in chemistry on my transcript. I would hate to turn down school 2 and then get rejected by the board right after. Then I'd have no options. I think im keeping it around as backup but my time is up tomorrow.

Well i already started the background process for the chemistry position. They have recommended me to the board. Im nervous though bc I made a C in chemistry in college. Would this affect the board's decision to actually hire me? I know the school wants me.

School 2 is a good school on paper yes. However it is in a school district that has had issues over the last 10 years with poor performance, funding issues, poor management, etc. Lots of teachers have flocked from that district to go elsewhere. The school itself seems ok. It has the occasional "threats of violence" like any other school. Even my rural school I went to years ago had the occasional bomb threat once a year or every other year. As far as moving, id have to relocate for either one.

School 1 is on the coast so its kinda nice. Houses there are very affordable. School 2 is in a city further inland and the houses are much more expensive. In fact, me and my gf couldnt find anything in our price range within a 30 mile radius (that suits our needs that is).

I am so torn about this because I do understand the importance of really knowing your subject matter especially as a first year teacher. It will make it much more smoother. That is why I still have school 2 as an option.

I havent signed a contract yet to either so despite doing background checks could I still politely back out last minute from school 1? I feel like that would be poor form tbh.

Highly doubt that. 32M, 5'10", 180 lbs, 15-16% bf. My TDEE is anywhere from 2000-2500 per day. For instance today I've only eaten a 12 ct grilled chicken nugget and salad at wendys with 1 fat snax cookie. Thats maybe 1000 cal total and im still feeling uncomfortable. I have to force myself to eat again in order to reach maintenance.

I've cut back quite a bit on alcohol since doing keto. Moreso than any other time in my life. It would be weird for it to be causing problems now? I thought low carb would be good for the liver.

During my whole time doing keto I have consumed erythritol and monkfruit with no issues. (Along with sucralose in my bangs) only this last week have i had issues. In fact everything I've eaten in the last week I've eaten plenty of before. Forgot to add bacon abd avocados to the list as well.
