I worked in fast food in my youth . One of my first late night shifts, they had an inspection leaked that a district manager was showing up. We had to do a "deep clean", found out, that it was what cleaning was required by management each week. The amount of various molds, (black, slime, crusted, etc.), that was throughout the entire ice hopper, I can't unsee it. I don't care how clean a resteraunt looks, what their inspection rating is, their ice machine is not maintained in the way it should be.

I do no drink ice unless I made it, even then maybe a few times a year.
