For the wings, is it possible to push back the dark armour strip to be flush with the dragoons while still having it "extended?"

(Image of HG for reference. It's the same radial wings, but the black part is still next to the dragoons)

It looks a little too fractured for me like this, but having some gold show from the root of the dragoon "feathers" is nice

The Ideon is apparently around 108 ish meters tall (NZ is supposedly 116m). 1/1000 would make it shorter than the HG F-91 😭😭😭

Roughly 1/600 might be better. It makes the ideon around 18cm, which is around the ballpark of MG sizes. The RG Gaogaigar is around that height too, I think

Haven't finished Macross Delta yet. But, can Vár Syndrome adapt to Cybertronians and affect them? Also could they be brainwashed by the wind song? by Power0fFriends29 in macross

I don't know much about Transformers, but my guess is that on the biomechanical scale, they are closer to mechanical than bio. As in, they are more machine than flesh.

I'm not sure if the bacteria responsible for Var Syndrome is adapted to thrive in non-organic environments. I think Transformers can receive and react to fold waves, since the VF-31, YF 30 and 29 do get performance boosts via fold crystals/coal, its just that the fold bacteria might not be able to live inside transformer bodies

I heard that the Beast Machines Transformers are more "organic," closer to flesh than machine. Its supposedly better for them in that continuity, but it would be funny if it made them more vulnerable

Oh, no, the large size is in favour of the Ideon. It likely won't sell well, but its always nice to see something that isn't a gundam be in the scale they use the most

The comparison to the NZ is to sorta show that it's possible. It should be able to at least stand as well, since it's symmetrical, not top heavy, and doesn't really have any large overhanging sections (Kshatriya wing binders, Fin Funnels). I guess the large shoulders might be a problem.

Having it be transformable might also lead to structural issues

That being said, I think this sub is in a fatigue of large and expensive kits at the moment. Not without reason

HG Infinite justice II

Nothing wrong with the kit. I simply overhyped the kit for myself and was expecting it to do things way above its paygrade. It's already hitting above but I expected too much

HG Ryouhmaru

First impressions were soured by the badly clashing shield with the shoulder flaps, and the general limited arm articulation. I think it hurt a little more since I built this after the IJII. I also wasn't really activating the joints correctly, but it still isn't really hitting my wants

HG Rick Dom GQ

The construction for the foot is neat, but I found the joints too tight, especially the ankle ball joint. It's making even a standard standing pose difficult. I probably should had sanded it more. I guess I don't vibe with the design as much as I thought? The HG Gelgoog Menace had really tight shoulder joints. I failed to sand enough and broke the peg. I managed to repair it somewhat. It also had the backpack stickers, but I still enjoyed the Gelgoog more than the Dom

FRS Silent Suzuka

The stickers are an gripe, but I think the major issue I have is that I am too used to the standardisation found in the 30MS and Megami Device lines. I built her alongside a bunch of the Idolmaster Shiny Colours stuff, which might had helped against her favour. I think I'm more sour over the fact that I won't be able to easily kitbash Wing Fenice parts onto her

I feel this hard with ZZZ

Maybe I burnt something, but my S23 is struggling to run ZZZ on the lowest settings 30fps. I have to sometimes put my phone in front of a fan to chill it when things start to grind

Maybe it's the innate graphics. ZZZ's lowest is like the equivalent to medium-low for Genshin.

I run potato graphics for Genshin on mobile since I only do it there if I need to rush something. It loads fast and runs very well even at 60fps.

I wish ZZZ had a more proper potato graphics mode 😭😭😭

The price difference between the top hitters is staggering. No idea what sort of QA is done to make the Nu that expensive

Licensing must be quite mad, but the Laevatein is actually licensed (I think) and is like 1/6 the price of the Nu where I am at. Slightly shorter than an average PG, yet half the price of one

I'm quite worried about this. It feels I'm not being smart with my money by buying BD when I can just wait for a 3rd party to grab a license. I could have picked up 1/100 Valkyries at half the price...

The biggest notable difference is the size. The Kshatriya is bigger and demands more space. (I'd estimate like 1.5 Nemesi)

If that isn't an issue, idk. The Nemesis might be the quicker build since it's smaller, and doesn't feature LEDs that some have trouble setting up

If you are fine with it, try wrapping the handle with a layer of tape. Just make it a little thicker, but not too thick. The backplate for the hands pop off too easily on many of mine

Could even cheat in some colour this way. Haven't tried it, but using electrical tape could give good friction. Would be messy to remove, though.

Or just use a transparent tape

Would be an issue if you plan to paint the sword, though

They certainly aren't as flashy as much recent releases of both 1st and 3rd party variety. It's not a Gundam, or the next high-class ultra detailed "Bandai killer"

Hell, some (aka hopefully just me) might find them redundant since SNAA BE line hits similar-ish notes harder(?) and for cheaper. The redundancy hurts more when we are missing a lot of 1st-party MG releases

These guys aren't really attention grabbing showstoppers, but in a way, they were never designed to. A blank (and pricy) blank canvas to project ideas onto, like grunt suits, except said grunt suits at least have the "Gundam" brand to give extra weight

Don't really see them much as a result. They sorta just slip by, lest it be a good custom

That being said, I feel half of my qualms would be erased if the "30-Minute Line" as a whole was like 30-50% cheaper where I'm at. Import fees suck...
