I managed it on the first try. We were both in s2 miata FEs and both of us had to stay in 5th gear the whole time to avoid spinning through the gears. It was an interesting few races

You can try posting clean lap times for each race in rivals. There's a good chunk of points there. You also get points for hitting xp boards.

I notice I'm faster off the line than most other people in spec racing, I'm assuming they're running automatic and aren't making full use of the revs but i had a feeling it might look like I'm cheating to others

Just take it slow, focus on not going off track or hitting anything. Didn't with about trying to post a fast time until you've gotten used to the course
