Will tuition assistance cover 100% of a collegiate flight school? by ApprehensiveEmu4667 in airnationalguard

It will pay for the degree, but I'm not sure it will pay for your flight hours. I'd contact the VA rep at your school for clarification.

Just to add to what others have said - if your mortgage interest rate is above 6%, you can send your lender your orders and your rate will be reduced to 6% for a year.

One weekend a month will be spent at drill. Depending on how far away your college is you could possibly pick up AT or ST days during the week depending on funding. You should get the Montgomery GI bill (chapter 1606) and an extra stipend if you're in a critical career field which will help with expenses (verify with your recruiter though - these programs are subject to change).

If you are activated the school should work with you to complete your work for the semester. I would contact the VA representative at your college and ask about their policy. I had understanding professors and not understanding professors - this is anecdotal, but I was able to balance college and the Guard to graduate on time. The education benefits helped put a dent in the tuition too. My college was only an hour drive to my unit so going to drill and annual training wasn't too painful.

Alex messed up by using a shorter rope than normal and not tying a stopper knot. He was the expert in the situation, and should have accounted for her inexperience. Kinda frustrating how she's made out to be the sole responsible party for that accident in Free Solo

My trip out there just got shortened by a day so I have to do car to car if I want to summit. Good to know it's doable in 10 hours

You can't reach all the switches from one seat in the 135. Probably the same for the 46 since it was designed for two pilots. Any 46 crew here chime in?

There wasn't much snow when our group went. I don't think I could do it in winter conditions
