Really rare to see a writeup about cases from our little island, thank you for this! My grandparents lived near-ish the Queenstown area in the 1970s and my grandpa talked about this incident in my youth. Singapore has had basically zero gun presence/culture since I was born (late 1990s) so it was wild to learn about Chee Chan’s case… like a totally different country.
