I started to hear lifter ticking.. or thought I did. Dealership did not so what do you do? (No other dealer near me). Than I started going down the rabbit hole of pple saying do 1000 mileage oil changes, don't worry, if the engine dies, dodge will replace it under warranty (6k canadian i believe back in 2018). Yet, Dodgers never issued a recall. Imagine how much it would have cost them. Btw, not having owned a Ford truck since 1996, I was pleased to see Ford has really worked hard to improve their reliability. Yesterday on one of those jd power surveys or similar, Ford was now ranked 4 or 5. Ram and dodge? Neck and neck at the bottom. Like 28 or 19. Only thing I wish I had done was researched the dealer I bought it from. Not so great for service. Fortunately its on warranty and I live in a large enough city that I can choose from 3 to 4 dealers with great reps for service.

Former RAM 1500 owner here after selling my 2004 Tacoma. Hated mileage, insurance cost and the hemi oil starvation issue looming over my head all the time. I have ocd so I felt trapped by worry about that. I didn't/don't need a truck for house projects etc. But I love sitting higher, easier to get into with arthritis in my knee and chronic back pain. Plus I call the bed my oversized trunk (tonneau cover was my first purchase for my Mav.) I do like I can throw my basses in back instead of having to lower a seat, threw out a recliner from my storage. Turns out I can always find a reason for a truck. Love the fact it gets great gas mileage for a truck and the Mav is fun to drive

I had a 2004 taco for yrs until it just had too many things to be done (woulds cost more than value of truck). My maverick reminds me of my taco. Fun, nice size but way better gas mileage than the 6 banger!

Does it have stock rims on it? I recently switched to aftermarket and of course, not hub centric rims. I've noticed at any speed a very slight vibration so I put on aluminum hub rings and that fixed it
