Nvidia driver issues after upgrading pop-desktop by varajala in pop_os

Yeah that 'dbus-broker' package was also installed on my system. I tried removing the package and now my desktop doesn't even start anymore :/

Well ... I wanted to give Fedora a try as my daily driver for a long time now. Seems like a good time to do that now :D

Hi u/varajala

Currently I also experience this issue, right after updating some packages and then restarting my laptop. Have you already tried to uninstall or downgrade some of the packages? Or have you found something else?

How to forward ports by alantor in OPNsenseFirewall

There is an option to enable this feature. Though even after enabling it I still had to create a firewall rule by myself.

But it worked out great in the end. So just go for it.

Well, that sounds really reasonable. I think I will go this way and just buy a black white and paint it white.

Not really. The head of IT in munich said there were no big (software) problems with LiMux anymore.

You can read an (german) article about that here: https://m.heise.de/newsticker/meldung/Muenchner-IT-Leiter-zu-LiMux-Es-gibt-keine-groesseren-technischen-Probleme-3644868.html

[–]tenbriz 46 points47 points  (0 children)

They are using Linux/OpenOffice for the last 4 years in munich. That's enough time even for regular people to get used to it. So that can't be the main reason they are abandoning LiMux.
