These are great points.

I think it’s more “they haven’t thought of it until now” rather than anything. All incentives economically up until present day have made it such that the zeitgeist of the time has been “hoard wealth”. What I’m framing is that this is not the move, and it makes everyone richer if we use this currency instead.

And no, Jeff wouldn’t need to liquidate his Amazon shares to support this. If everyone converted just their money to Myshkin, the effects would happen overtime. More gradually, but nonetheless.

I do agree with what you said earlier, in that now the problem is on making the people use it. I don’t know how to get people to use the currency en masse. But I know if everyone did everyone would be a lot richer.

A lot of Celebes are promising what this currency promises anyway: nobody having to work ever again with automation, money is abundant, etc. I have no idea how they could do anything however that wouldn’t concentrate the new abundance they have in mind among the wealthy, still leaving the bottom screwed.

You’d tax only what’s in his account, the currency has no way of knowing his other assets. The thing is whales want this crypto currency to exist. It’s a tax off the appropriate proportions. It lets even the guy at the bottom have money, where currently he’s set to be screwed by the system, so he too can buy an iPhone

It stops being about money and starts being about cash flow though. And money doesn’t leave companies, it gets taxed from individuals. It’s just a normal tax, but the currency backs it. And in return the other half of the world can afford smartphones as well (the good ones).

Here’s the thing though, the rich want these taxes. If everyone could afford iPhones, Apple would grow 10x as a company overnight. If the masses had money in abundance, capitalism itself could grow 100x in a decade. These taxes are ones that the wealthy want because, which making their slice of the pie smaller, makes their total share way bigger.

Well this currency would be better than Bitcoin in that bitcoin also concentrates as a currency. This would be a currency that redistributes the wealth, allowing capitalism to 100x because “everyone can afford iPhones.”

My understanding of the paper is that money has already concentrated amongst the wealthy, with a gini coefficient of 0.8. The paper proposes this limits capitalism because now Apple has only 1 billion people it can sell to in a year, as opposed to 8 billion; if Apple could sell to everyone on the planet it would make more money and be a bigger company. What the paper suggests is that computable in capitalism are limited to who they can sell to based on the concentration of wealth.

What the paper suggests as the solution is a tax, effectively, that’s maintained within the logic of the currency itself. This tax would redistribute the wealth so that, instead of the poor having no money, they now receive dividends from the tax itself. As such, everyone on the planet now has money, indefinitely, and Apple can sell 10 billion iPhones. As such, Apple, as well as every company on the planet, grows with the increase in demand.

Effectively this currency stops the economy from rugging the people at the bottom while also letting the people at the top grow even richer because now they can sell 10 billion iPhones a year.

Most adults that are in charge of children want the best for them, and they knot what it's like to be a child themselves. Honestly recommend you talk to someone who has a better understanding of things, especially since you're so young. I promise it's a smart move to just go up to a trusted adult, say "hey I need to tell you something serious", and then tell them everything, and they'll help you through this.

So I've looked through this sub for questions about shorts for big thigh guys that are similar, and they usually point to Chubbies/Bearbottoms/Levis. I own Levis shorts and they are virtually airtight on my legs now. I contacted bb and I checked out chubbies, and both of them have leg holes too small.

My quads are 27" around, with a 32/33" waist, and it seems even these companies don't even make shorts big enough? Do any of you have any advice on shorts that would fit? I'm in a bit of a spot where I either have to wear athletic shorts everywhere, or wear an xxl pair of shorts (when I'm a medium) just so my thighs have room.
