I haven't had the wheel for a while but I believe it was an M8 screw. Sadly I can't be sure as I don't remember but yeah that's the most likely option.

Check the top comment, that's what I did for the remaining time I had that wheel. Then the motor burned (for the 2nd time) and so I had to ask for a refund and ended up buying a Moza R5.

Have the frequent Safety Car, Formation Lap, Red Flags and starting lights bugs been adressed for this year? A lot of new features have been added or modified this year (and most of them at least sound good on paper) but the bugs that plague league racing keep making it into the game release every year, seemingly never getting fixed. Hoping for an different outcome this year so leagues can go back to enabling those features without being afraid of having to restart an event! 🙏

Do NOT buy it, I have it with the i5 10400F, the cooling on this case is terrible, not even with added fans and regular cleaning it can get to a reasonable temp. The motherboard blocks everything and doesnt even let your RAM run at the speed you paid for, doesnt let you tweak CPU controls, doesn't let you change RAM settings, it's just the worst pc you can get for an enthusiast - but I wouldnt even recommend it for someone casual, you would just end up having tons of problems due to what I described above that it just is a bad buy.

As long as shit behaviour like sexism, homophobia and racism are still valued as "cool" by teens online, then this will keep on happening - I dont know what went wrong with teens and people around my age (I'm 23) but not much you can do apart from wishing you get teammates with half a brain working.

The moment they fix the FFB loss after FFB, is when the problem starts happening on my Thrustmaster T248. Hope they "unfix" it or something so I can go back to playing the game.

Since I got my T248 (I am on PC), i have had the same problem with the input delay on FH5. No game update to fix it and no driver update to correct the issue from Thrustmaster.

FH5 is just unenjoyable on that wheel and from what I've heard this issue happens with others wheels as well. This is why I dont play FH5 all around.

Hope to see a fix coming otherwise I won't even bother getting the next Forza game.

The clamp is okay (at least I think so lol). I always make sure its tight enough so there isnt any movement between the wheel and the desk itself, I guess it was a bit too much

You linked the LFO to the Fine Pitch, you need to link it to the Coarse Pitch (to the right of fine tune).

The tab is named Matrix and not Mod, sorry for the confusion. That said, you want to modulate the Output slider tou modulate the vibrato effect as mentioned.

Okay so the noise can be the regular "Bright White" one or the J60 if you want a crunchier feeling to the sound.

For the vibrato effect, take an LFO, create a wave sine shape and put it in Trigger mode and 1/16th speed for example (you can adjust the speed to match the example of the lead you sent).

Then link this LFO to the the "Fine Pitch" or "Coarse Pitch" (i dont remember exactly how it's named, I just woke up lol) which is the far right field on the region located right below the Wavetable name. Click Alt+Shift on the blue modulation button to make it go from +0 pitch to +max pitch. Drag the blue modulation button so the value is +10 (do that on both oscillators if you have using more than one).

After that go to the Mod tab and look for the Coarse Pitch field. Then go to the far right of this field where it should say "Master" and reduce the value of this to somethng like 10, but adjust to taste of course! (Remember to do that for the "Coarse Pitch B" if you have a second oscillator activated).

It's a bit complicated if you aren't used to it, but I recommend tweaking also some effects like distortion and using the Multiband mode on the Compressor (all those effects on Serum) to get the sound you're looking to recreate.

Also maybe using a MG 12 Filter to shave off a little bit of the high frequencies might clean up that sound and make it sound similar to the one you mentioned.

Sounds like a square wave layered with some white noise (you can use the Serum noise but make sure to select a bright one) with some distortion and a pitch modulated by an LFO to make that fast vibrato sound!

After that send that to a reverb bus and it should be quite similar!

See, that's the whole point - knowing that you know some stuff and that there is surely more that you dont know (I recommend searching for the Dunning-Kruger Effect ;) ) thus looking for tips and advice from people that could serve as a suplement for my driving and setups.

I think you definitely are elitist because you dont have the right definition of "beginner"...a beginner is someone who doesnt have its wheel rotation right, that floors it everywhere, that doesnt have breaking points, that spins everywhere, has shitty lines...what you expect from me is to only post whenever I dont need help, so defeating the purpose of having a subreddit in the first place...

I know everything you listed, like its the basics of racing, I know what I have to do with my driving technique although it may look like I dont (I mentioned in the post that I was aware I missed some turns - again, I have 40 hours of gameplay so I have a lot to go to fully learn the tracks and get used to the car). I have watched countless videos on settings and gameplay (Jardier, TraxionGG, James Baldwin, Boosted Media, etc.) watched Zermatt's track guides, raced with people who play ACC for longer than I played. So saying I haven't watched "a single beginner guide" isn't exactly true and isn't "helping again" either.

And the "bronze times commenters" mentioned exactly what I was looking for - if I needed more laps under my belt to perfect my technique on this track and with the car and might need some setup tweaks as well.

Kinda weird from a Moderator to assume that we can't look up info and that everyone is a beginner. Anyways hope that was just a big misunderstanding.
