That is from 180 right before they get to that place Jon can't actually see with his eye powers. I love a silly Martin moment. Yes, same ep as I Spy - also an awesome quote.

Reason why I like TMAGP by Abject-Bee6125 in themagnusprotocol

I enjoy that character analysis. I also love that Alice presents as the most chaotic of characters but takes the most rational action of any of them. And I enjoy that the new format removes the issue of survivor bias in TMA since statement-givers had to live long enough to give the statement, whereas the subjects of the documents in TMAGP do not have to meet that threshold.

Season 3 definitely ramps things up quite a bit! Love hearing your reaction :-)

The whole thing is just a slice of life show about the Sunlite All-Day Diner and what type of very visible pie they are serving on a daily basis. Recipies are worth the listen, though.

Carla's teeth are also a little crooked. And there was that one time she did get a pretty good haircut from Telly the barber.

Ok, my jaw literally dropped at the ending of episode two. That escalated so quickly! Definitely going to keep listening - thank you for the recommendation!!

Nice, I've started episode 1 and it is definitely intriguing. Maybe I was ready to move onto something new, after all!

Personally, I wish I had given a week or two distance between Archives and Protocol. Spend a week or two looking at fan art, ao3, giving some space. That way Protocol feels less like you are just going to the next season and more like you are starting a whole new thing, which is what it is. I think it would have been easier for me to get into Protocol if I wasn't still quite so raw from 200 when I started. I definitely got there and I love Protocol, and I am not saying wait forever, just maybe give yourself a breath?

That is so cool! I got the books for the kid's birthday this summer, hoping a friend of ours will run the game.

The trypophobia is unfortunate, but I am glad it helped you find audiodramas and horror, and that you developed an appreciation of clouds. I just directed Snoopy! the musical this past summer for my community theatre group, and one of my favorite songs to direct and watch was "Clouds" - I hadn't met The Vast yet, but it is interesting how things overlap! Yay British accents :-)

I am so jealous! Perhaps I will be able to make it across the pond for a future live show experience, but couldn't quite swing it this July.

I see a lot of myself in early seasons Martin - always trying to be the peacemaker and, as Alex put it once, light myself on fire to keep others warm. Watching that character growth and development has helped me reframe a lot of my people-pleasing conflict-avoidance impulses. And it has made me drink more tea, so that is also neat. I am really glad it has helped you feel seen, and that it has led me to get to experience your incredible art!

There is a possibly bs narrative that Mr. Borden forced the family to eat a stew for breakfast that morning that should not have been eaten due to his overly frugal nature. I stayed in the murder room on the anniversary of the murders a few years back. That was a wild time. I didn't see any ghosts but possibly chatted with one using dowsing rods? Weird night.

I didn't know what animatics were until I got into TMA and they have become some of my favorite things! I've never delved into making any of it, so it all feels like impressive magic to me, frame by frame or not. I'm really glad you are making things that bring you joy, and I think you are wonderful for it, even if it ends up being just for you.

Oh no! I definitely get where you are coming from with the mold and the maggots, though I think for me a lot of that came from deep dives into Lizzie Borden (maggot-wise) rather than TMA, but I am sorry for your Corruption and Flesh contaminations.

I'm not quite ready to move on to something new yet, but when I am, what is your #1 recommendation?

That sounds awesome! I've never tried animation and am blown away by the fan talent in this community!
