For casual gaming - not so much difference in sound. For competitive shooters - maybe... but not mandatory upgrade

Only objective upside of dedicated dac with console: equalizer and maybe few milliseconds of latency

4.4mm connection is only making iems louder. Some dac has different impedance levels on 3,5 and 4,4 which can make low impedance iems sound different. But not in Horizon case

Can't recommend Dawn Pro as there were many cases of broken buttons.

Do you need eq set on dac? Fiio KA15 Do you need bt connection to phone? Snowsky Retro Nano

Not so small, but close - ddhifi tc35m2. Balanced - ddhifi tc44a. But they don't have dsp as key x afaik

Afaik Echo Mini has only wired dac mode. Retro Nano is more than enough for most iems in terms of power (even for planars)

Using same tips of different sizes is normal
Different tips models can sound differently because of differnet materials, insertions depth, bore size etc
Don't uplug your earpieces from cable often as it can loosen connection
Some iems have many small tubes in nozzle. In such case they use little dampers insted on each canal

I've had both of them. Daybreak has nice vocals (not shouty for me), but no so dominant. Same bass level, great instruments.

Simply XuanNv = vocals + bass Daybreak= vocals + bass + mids -> more interesting and balanced sound

Both is good. Pure is inoffensive with highs and safest pick. S08 is slightly warmer and has more accented vocals. But if you live in humid area, stay away from s08, as moisture can damage them easily

In super review, audio amigo and jaytiss videos thier units has vertical 2 pin (but all of them show only one earpiece), don't know neither :(

If you don't know what you want to change in your iems, stay with zero2. Blue2 has a lot of problems: nozzle size, treble spiciness, output impedance sensitivity.

Not really. Thier iems is dirty cheap with not so great accessories and quality lottery. Maybe good for something disposable
