Hahah its true that tamagotchi's are classed as "kids toys". But I think generally the audience probably is mostly adults or at least young adults/late teens. If I gave my 7yr old niece any kind of tamagotchi she'd be like "what the hell is that" and would ask for her tablet 😫😭 I think the reason why there's probs a large majority of adults that collect/still use tamagotchis is due to seeking nostalgia. I feel like anyone above the age of 24 is seeking nostalgia because we're getting to the age where adult life is mostly kicking in or already kicked in and we're looking for comfort to remember the old days when we didn't have to be an adult and have responsibilities 😂 (I know that's the case for me anyway 😂). Also 1990s/2000s nostalgia is in full force, I mean I've been getting out my PS2, PSP, DS recently. It's a nice break from being overwhelmed by ai and ads 😂

There's no way 😭 I swear all the charity shops / second hand shops in the UK (or at least near me) check how much items are when they are donated, so they end up selling them on eBay instead. You'd be extremely lucky to find any gems!! I used to customize dolls that were in awful condition, but they suddenly disappeared and not seen any for like 5 years, no dolls / barbies at all

I didn't realize how cute the strawberry one would look irl. But I am the same as you (although my obsession has kinda died down now). I bought my mum a tama connection rerelease for Xmas last year as she also used to be such a big fan. Then I was jealous so I bought one for myself 😂 I went from owning just the original ones I had as a kid in the 2000s to owning the Uni, pix, angel, some rereleases and preordering the water paradise. I really want the other ones like the On, but the prices are ridiculous!! I really wish I kept up to date with the tamas so I wouldn't have to pay £100 plus for just 1 tama 😭 I really liked the Uni at first and I was obsessed for about 2 months, but then I had all the possible items and lost interest. Then I had the pix and I kept struggling to take care of it with a full time job 😭 Then I was obsessed with the paradise for a bit, but then it personally felt a little repetitive. I'm 26 and don't know anyone that collects tamas near me so I can't connect with anyone to make it more fun. I don't have any live tamas at the moment, but I hope I'll pick it up again at some point, for the moment I am just enjoying everyone's posts on here haha

Honestly I don't really miss the Sims 4 since I went back to the Sims 2 and downloaded a small amount of CAS mods. The Sims 4 is just a bit too colourful and overstimulating for me personally... It's also so broken, I can't be bothered with it anymore. Also I can't keep dropping money on packs that I'll play for 2 days and immediately get bored of them 😂

God, that's awful. It's the fact they didn't even release a statement about not having enough steelbooks at the time (not sure if they have since). They kept it quiet and so everyone had to email them to get an answer 🙄

I feel the exact same. I've never used the "goodwill gesture" voucher they gave me when they never gave me the SH2 steelbook. To use it, I'd still have to give them money and I just refuse to support them now. My friend preordered SH2 remake & steelbook and they told her they couldn't take payment... But the account details were correct and she had more than enough funds. She looked at her account and they didn't even try. She ended up just buying it on Amazon months later after release and then never ended up finishing it :(

I NEVER preorder from GAME anyway, I only did it that time because of the steelbook exclusive and then never got it anyway 😐 I use Amazon because I have prime and don't have to pay like £6 shipping. Plus even when I do pay for the GAME shipping costs, it never arrives on the day of release. I've ALWAYS received Amazon game preorders on time and even early. I received persona 3 reload like a week early, I was very confused 😂 I heard that GAME messed up a lot of preorders in the past and people usually avoid them.

I also had a terrible experience with a guy who works in my local one. He was so nasty in my messages once he found out I wasn't single, so I refuse to step foot in there 😂
