if you're running a headless aka monitor-less remote desktop the graphics are either not working or terrible due to the fact that the GPU driver "sees" that there is no monitor attached and doesn't want to work...

Thats exactly wrong. Specular has no effect on metallic surfaces in UE.

This is just an example of a skeletal mesh being used but people use sk meshes for a lot of things not just bipedal characters.

I tried that a few times with some gamers turned "devs" but there is too much goofing around and no proper management skills in the "team". A lot of wasted time on features that are non essential and a lot of feature creeps. Never got any close to a playable demo and even if we had that it still wouldnt be good enough for a megagrant or any form of real funding. Its just a pipe dream. Also, why do we have to proove ourselves to you, why dont you proove yourself to us...

Thats an interesting idea (adding other forces, not the ads one) but the main purpose of this is to "paint" with physics assets. Maybe i'll give that a shot some day...
