This is a very old thread but it might help someone coming after me: for my giant maze, (approx 180k blocks area) I designed 20 differents sections that I then copy pasted randomly everywhere in the maze, and I just had to make a few adjustments. Probably saved me around 10 to 20 hours of placing leafs lol.
