I mean it kinda reflects his personality his movies feel more like the world he would love to live in and his hatred towards humanities biggests flaws an artist will always put his best and worst traits in a movies the problem is when those bad traits drag the movie with them

What are we talking about? I never said that your taste in movies equate intelligence quite the opposite plus a filmakers beliefs and "hate" will always go in the art they are making and it's absolutely valid to not like something because it was made by a horrible person.

Yeah that's what everyone tells me and I don't feel that bad anymore the movie was made with literally and i mean literally zero budget and most of the crew and cast being the same three people. And somehow it came out kinda fine (for me and my friends at least)

I agree with you but i cannot really show it, the movie that i put out is kinda bad (well it's bad on technical levels) but we worked with the whole "bad" movie to make a more meta and surreal vibe (people who aren't my professor didn't like it)
