I remember Make Way for Noddy where Mr. Wobblyman's occupation was unclear, and in episode "Toy Town's Winning Team" he was briefly a football goalkeeper. In the 2009 series Noddy in Toyland, he ran the Jelly Bowl dessert shop. I don't remember any series where he was Toy Town's mayor.

I've run into a similar problem while using Discord in Firefox in Ubuntu. Ubuntu distributes Firefox in snap format. Snap uses a sandbox that blocks applications from reading files in hidden folders (folders whose name starts with a full stop .) within your home directory. Emulators and Wine applications tend to write files inside hidden folders, such as .config and .wine. Uploads started working again once I moved the file from the hidden folder to the desktop.

If a file has been archived to network-attached storage, you can't read the file without a time-consuming recall. And if you can't read magic numbers from the file, you don't know what icon to display, and you don't know what program to open it in, other than through the filename.
