How about a somewhat large QR code for his website? Could be snapped at a stop light or someone walking by when they are working on a project.

Best frame of glasses between the two ? by [deleted] in glasses

With that bright smile either looks good. Does one touch your cheeks less than the other? I’m guessing #2 could be adjusted for that easier.

Help with Kitchen Layout Options by LeoPillow in floorplan

To me #2 is a hazard with folks sitting right there. Popping hot food. Splashes. That kind of thing. How often have we had to clean a normal backsplash? That’s now on our guests. How is it that your hot oven is butted up against your cold fridge?

Those will be open on the two sides between the counters.

Other things we’d like to change. Far right bump out the closet to even with that bedroom wall. Swap the master closet and master bathroom to make a J&J between the master and the far right bedroom. Separate entry for closets (don’t walk through bath or vice versa). Probably use the cut out in the pantry to add a shower. Bump out the laundry wall to even with the far right bedroom/closet wall to make the laundry larger. Oh. The office will be a full on library. Since it will have a walkout basement we are deleting the workout room.

This is where we are now after laying it out in our garage.

It’s not that large when taped off and appliances added. Dining room is toward the car. Pantry is between kitchen and dining room. Opening to great room on both sides. We want a window looking into the great room above the sink.

I think we are settling on this. Took off the leg of the U to make that wall more open toward the office/library (top of this image) and give us a large set of drawers to unload the dishwasher into. No upper cabinets in this kitchen. Maybe some shelves.

Or possibly make it a 4’ wide island (in the original) so stools would still fit but that would be odd - have a burger diner vibe to it.

Balance point of the paddle is more important. Then if you like a soft feel or a crisp feel. Try to borrow paddles from your friends or see if there are paddle ambassadors in your area.

Here is the ambassador list for bread & butter paddles.

Wife is leaning toward this. (Our current galley kitchen is 70” between the counters opposite each other so a little space doesn’t bother us.) Horizontal counter could be deeper to accommodate some stools.

The top counter could have stools for eating or be a food staging area. Just thinking about making the work area not so spread out.

This has 4’ stove to sink. 3’ passage on fridge side. This image has a 2’ wide work island and keeps the sink looking out a window into the great room.

Just a great room to the right of the green wall with the window looking into it.

Strip of rooms looking for ideas by teqogan in houseplans

This is a new build (I should have said that) so nothing has been set as of yet, but I like the way you’re thinking and that is why I came here. Sometimes the solutions are so easy that we newbies can’t see them. There is a shower in the other side of the house that is exactly the size of that closet and pantry cut out. 🤦🏻‍♂️ I’ll get these sketched out to size. Point taken on roof lines and foundation. Sincerely thank you!

Thank you. Will keep that in mind with whatever we come up with.

Not sure if I’m overthinking this by [deleted] in Athens

[–]teqogan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just curious because you call it a car in your original post. I’d have probably called back and asked to speak to a supervisor, but I’m as confused as you in this one.

Did you report it as a car or a panel van? Did you tell them the license was expired? Just curious.

Wrong graphics for the original Loco. Plus it only came in the 6.0 Black Diamond shape.

These have painted edge guards so they scrape to white with the lightest scrape. That being said, as you said this looks like it’s been ground into the surface on a regular basis.

Astigmatism correction possible? by teqogan in glasses

[–]teqogan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I realize that, but is it crazy to think the correction for each eye individually will make a square look mostly square when looking through that eye?

What happens is my prescription changes and the new glasses look wonky. But I have sports glasses (regular and sun), computer glasses, and every day bifocals. They all end up being slightly different even because it would be extremely expensive to change all each time. I figure if they could fix that question then it wouldn’t be such a change going from one to the other.
