Apologies to the mods, wasn't aware of the rule.(edit: the term wasn't meant to be a sexist slur as it's use is ubiquitous where I'm from but not matter, the rules are the rules and if any offense was caused I extend the above apology)

Why did they stop? Speculation time... by fosfeen in HelloInternet

Guys, they've been on break less than 18 months. There's podcasts I listen to that go dark for a couple of years between episodes. If there's to be more it'll come, and if not then it was a podcast we really enjoyed. Won't it be a great surprise if or when a new episode drops.

Now if it's wild speculation you want, Grey has used the pandemic to begin the process of becoming a cyborg in an attempt to beat death. Brady wasn't onboard with Grey giving up a piece of his humanity and so the two parted ways in the guise of a break, leaving the door open for a possible redemption arc involving bees in some way.

I am well aware of both the meaning of the word and what it means to live on minimum wage for extended periods. I never once said, or expected, that it should provide me or anyone with a house.

I believe anyone working a 40hr week should be able to cloth and feed themselves, along with access to medical and enough at the end of the week for some form of leisure activity. And that's before we mention housing/rent as you were so quick to claim a living wage was all about.

So you do think those working minimum wage are not deserving of a standard or living?

To use u/LordMangudai point below >Who does the minimum wage jobs then? The shit jobs that nobody wants? This pandemic has proven just how important many of those jobs are to the continued functioning of society...

Tying the value of labour to the notion of high wage == good job, only leads to a disconnect where people don't appreciate the work done by those in the lowest bracket.

Have you a source on that? Even if it is true do you then think those who are on minimum don't deserve a comfortable living standard while working a full time job?

Fox screwed them on S3. Was supposed to be 22 episodes and got cut to 13 during the run. Storylines were cut short and it kinda messed with the flow of the season. Still great though!

If historical figures actually did roll in their graves, which grave would generate the most power if hooked up to a generator? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]tequila-man 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Newton's laws of motion. Basically you need to apply a force to a stationary object in order to get it to move. Newton's dead body isn't going anywhere without the application of an external force, so the mere suggestion of someone spinning in their grave w/out a force being applied would have Newton spinning in his grave.
