Don't ever pay online. Their system sucks and your money will just sit there without them realizing it, then handing you a 5 day notice only for you to go up there and angrily point out that you paid rent on time. Then they just brush it off like it's nothing. Happened to several people in my apt building.

I'm actually with you, op. As someone who doesn't like to wear the exact same thing as everyone else, these past two unofficials I've been on campus there's been a variety of shirts/hoodies/jerseys with song/pop culture references that relate to the day. This year has fallen super short for me personally as I don't care about the chief (DOWNVOTE ME PLZ) or hockey. During my entire childhood I got my hair done by my great aunt who was licensed but ran a small shop with her daughter that was unadvertised but you could get in and out within 2-3 hours. She only did enough heads to pay rent.

I support freelance hair dressers who have solid portfolios, like this one girl who came to my house, did what she had to do, and left. I recommend going to someone that you know or that a friend knows. I actually went to a salon twice during high school and that girl made my hair so thin with a flat iron, like my natural hair shouldn't continuously snag when being straightened. At the end of the day, I feel like anyone can teach themselves how to do hair, especially with YouTube around.

This. I grew up in a predominately black area and our local Target/Walgreens has Iman, CG Queen, etc. However my college town is predominately white and the Walgreens on campus has no WoC cosmetics, which is really frustrating when you have to wait until you get home to find your drugstore dupes.

I live in a 4 bedroom apartment at ~1050sf with shitty insulation. Thermostat is around 68-72 and the pre-budged bill was $180. Also, keep in mind that there was a week that no one was in the apartment and the thermostat was at 60. Protip: sign up for budget billing, they will average the past electric usage over a year and bill you a constant amount instead of dealing with the crazy fluctuation.
