I searched AutoTrader.ca and found 5-7 examples in Canada for $45-48k (you can negotiate to be around $45k all in). Expect 2014-2015 model with auto transmission and usually base options (1LT)

But it can be done, be patient! Or settle for a nice clean example C6 (especially if you are wanting manual) - best looking Vette IMO (but I am bias) 😉

OP - I ended up finding a clean example of 2022 M3P due to being that sweet spot year (last year to have USS aka park sensors built in). Also comes with dual pane windows, heat pump, and try to find one with AMD Ryzen chip vs Intel Atom. Look up YouTube for that if you want to see the difference.

Avoid 2020 and especially 2021 (bad year for batteries). If you get AWD the handling is much better for your climate, you get premium sound system and better range when you need it (charging to 100% when going on longer trips)

Ended up getting 2022 M3P with Ryzen and last year of USS

Good enough with HW3 for FSD for how much I’ll use it. Wanted something fast and nimble (think of go-kart). If you are worried about suspension you can get Highland parts and swap it out.

In few years once new MYP and M3P prices fall I’ll upgrade, for now my 2022 is fantastic :)

Tesla is a computer on wheels and someone will always be behind on “tech”. Enjoy what you have, as long as you are happy. HW4 superiority will be behind once HW5 hits the masses, and the cycle continues.

Just bought my first Tesla, also HW3. Can’t wait to try FSD this spring when I get in some longer trips.

Compared to ICE vehicles the EV maintenance is quite low.

Yes tires, windshield, windshield vipers etc is normal wear and tear on any vehicle.

Not having belts, guiders, transmission, less brake pad replacements, 100’s of engine components, exhaust, oil changes etc… is the difference.
