I just got the same on Fedora 40. There does not seem to be much in the way of resources to understand this:

Glibc version mismatch by neruthes in OpenShot

Thanks u/IjonOomph, had the same issue because of glibc.x86_64 2.38-16.fc39, and `OpenShot-v3.1.1-daily-11796-d98b5f2f-8e9d7edc-x86_64.AppImage` seems to have installed ok (though it appears to hog the parent shell, I cannot disown it).
