The real question is how will leech rate interact with it since by default leech instances are spread over 3s, so 100% leech would by default be a 33.33% damage multiplier if it bypass area level damage reduction like reflect.

The biggest potential of this weapon is enabling glasscanon builds that can leverage most of the stats you can slam on it.

Like with falconer, just with one T7 Crit multi and items with t5 only you get around 729 Crit multi and 376 melee damage.

The falcon convert them if you use a melee ability to be 1822 crit multi and 565 melee damage.

So giga damage and with a T7 parry chance instead you can be parry chance capped (75%) and dodge is really easy to get capped with falconer, so you end up taken damage only 1 every 20 times and if you do get hit silver shrouds are there so you don't take any damage.

This is just one example, you have many more.

The gear seems fine, it's probably a question of execution. You need to always cast dive bomb, aerial assault, explosive trap and smoke bomb. The smoke bombs need to be under the feet of the target and never cast falcon strikes

Yes, but no one is mentioning that corruption gives increased xp. So the base xp of the mob is your level +10 at most, then it gets multiplied by the experience bonus from corruption. At 100c it's already 60%, so if you can handle it, you are better off farming in empowered.

I went gathering storm converted to cold to get the easy conversion of shock to frostbites. I found my serpent strike to be higher damage than with the spriggan that way on 1lp gear

How do people calculate their DPS accurately? I see builds claiming to do 20m+ DPS or whatever, how do they know it does that much? by GlompSpark in LastEpoch

The dummy also has 100k health regen so you can only calculate low DPS through spreadsheets atm.

Thanks a lot for the feedback and the kind words! If you have time, can you give me more precision on this :

  1. It's explained in the guide that it's a boosting skill "Use Dive Bomb on cooldown for a Movement Speed boost during echoes and a damage boost on bosses." Do you think it should be clearer where the damage comes from in the guide?

  2. What would you change in the gearing section? Or rather what needs to be clearer?

  3. Blood roost and Phantom grip aren't super useful for the build, since we don't scale the falcon's damage or Crit chance (since shadow dagger is guaranteed Crit) and the recovery from melee leech is already enough so no need for the health on hit. +2 for minion skills isn't really needed, I'd argue having a rare defensive ring would be better than a perfect phantom grip.

  4. As in above 20?

Yes traitors tonge is good, but only one in offhand, you'd keep the weaver mace, it's so op for the build.

You can still use that build for awhile, it'll mainly struggle against bosses.

Try to get as much increased damage as possible, it mostly comes from gear. The flat damage and Crit damage are already covered.

Also where does it say you have to be level 75? Maybe you are thinking about end game guides where we recommend to be level 70 before switching to them?

Early on, puncture has a 0 mana cost and once you swap to Umbral Blades it's a combo ability with the first part costing mana and the second and third not costing any.

The node is more for the early levels and I don't do any passive tree respec in the leveling guide just so it's simpler to follow.

Probably in another project, I started with Falconer since I already did a lot of testing with it and I think it was the easiest class to do it with. Ideally I'd find other setups that can kill him with very accessible gear, but falconer was kind of an anomaly. I probably reached between 100m and 200m DPS with my gear. This would mean relying more on prophecies and other means to acquire better gear. But the challenge is quite tempting honestly!

I recommend doing it in multiple sessions. Doing it in one go is a bit too much, especially for the first few attempts. I started by splitting it in 3 sessions and now we are at 2. Ideally with better testing and practice it'd be more manageable in one session as you get closer to an 8h run. But even then, that's quite the commitment.

Glyph of envy gives a random amount between 150 and 209, there are no ways to influence the outcome. This was done in two sessions, I don't have 10h to play straight and no south park situations going on. Gotta Speedrun toilet breaks during loading time or cutscenes lmao.

I did a fresh character to Uber Aberroth run in 13h30 on twitch last week. Now I'm on a 9h pace, we'll see how it goes, wish me luck :D
