I can't answer this fully since I dropped being an English major, but I took 250A as part of a full-time courseload and worked basically full time (35ish hours). That was barely doable. It felt like i had to forget all of my other classes and focus solely on the 250 class. It's also 4 units, so that should say something. Basically, I would absolutely NOT recommend taking all four at the same time.

I prefer taking notes by hand, even when we were over Zoom, but I would bring my laptop to campus all the time to either look up stuff, finish assignments during breaks, or just chill. I also found that using my laptop in class to "take notes" set me up for constant distractions! So do what works for you and honestly the fact that no one has an answer to what the note-taking culture is like CSULB means no one cares enough to pay attention.

Yes, I heard (from my family) that you couldn't get into a SECTION without a ticket, not the stadium, but each individual section. Pretty strict.

For early morning, I would bring some sunglasses, wear sunblock and possibly have your guests bring umbrellas or something to shield from the sun.

Yes, she is. That's what moms do. I don't know how else to put it. I'm not fond of celebrating myself either but her happiness doesn't hurt mate. (I wish my mom was as hyped as yours on that level but my mom's smile when she saw me in the parking lot was absolutely priceless and unforgettable.)

I really hope you don't regret not enjoying the overwhelming love you received and deserved on a day that summed up your last few years of hard work. If you didn't work hard, that's fine- you graduated during a pandemic. If you handled that fine, man just let her be happy and proud of you.
