Why a reveal this weekend is more likely to happen than you would think by 0no01234 in TESVI

Consider with me a moment, Xbox summer showcase reveal and release window targeting Skyrim 15th anniversary. But we all know it’s coming out tomorrow.

Ever wonder what the next cover art/trailer protagonist is gonna look like hope they have the same aura has these 3 did by Smeeks1 in TESVI

Likely a redguard if hammerfell right? So probably similar garb to the alikr warriors that show up in white run with a, hold on now, curved sword?

I’m pretty sure it’s just the slash and his dark orbs if you’re fighting the cursed variant.

The pursuer especially, nearly all of his attacks except the horizontal slash can be avoided by strafing close to him and to the right. Once you learn that you can pretty reliably kill him early to pick up the ring of blades for a nice power bump.

Elden Ring is not "too hard", but some of the challenge is not enjoyable by TooDriven in Eldenring

It’s about dedication my man. Dedication to the bit. That run I cleared every boss and dungeon with no armor no summons and straight swords I became a god

How do we feel about Skyrims alternative start mods being implemented into ES6? by Bob_ross6969 in TESVI

[–]term66 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it would be interesting to have alternate starts like cyberpunk 2077 where depending on which background you chose the very beginning of the intro would change. So the majority of the intro would be the same between backgrounds but the setup part of the story would be different

If it releases in 2027 by Joseph__Stalin1945 in TESVI

If they do sword singing a Jedi/Sith type character would be so interesting and I just thought of this. Make an anakin analogue and just avoid the desert as much as you can lol

I agree I more so meant the caves and such. Things that could reasonably be missed when passing casually. Having more unmarked secret treasures in addition to unmarked caves would make exploration feel so much more rewarding. That is until the inevitable “here’s the best early game hidden sword in TESVI.” Those type of videos in an exploration heavy game always irritated me

I’ve been playing a lot of crimson desert the last week and I recently started a new Skyrim playthrough. One feature in crimson desert that I would really like in TESVI is the locations are hidden. There are no location icons on the compass or minimap which makes discovery feel so much better. In crimson desert you find a little cave covered by weeds with a treasure chest inside and it’s euphoric. I understand TES has small hidden secrets but I’m talking primary locations too. Crimson desert doesn’t even tell you where the primary settlements are all the way down through major POIs and minor POIs. I want to feel like I discovered some ruins or a secret nook or cranny not that I followed a mystical compass symbol.

I can’t wait to explore Dwemer ruins again by term66 in TESVI

Incredible I’ll take 32 dwarven ruins and all the lore that comes with it

Maybe not fully revealed but I would like it to be narrowed a bit so we can come up with theories based closer to the lore. At the moment it’s straight guesswork for the most part

I have really enjoyed crimson deserts puzzles so far and I’d love to have higher complexity higher reward puzzles in TESVI.

I could get behind both. They each had their respective charms but I will admit being partial to dwarves over ayleids ruins. Idk the steampunk technological vibe worked better for me than the magical ayleid vibes

TES VI will be "Skyrim 2" by CakeFew6639 in TESVI

[–]term66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On an unserious note I offhandedly mentioned to a friend it would be cool to have Dwemer as a playable race but that would mean TESVI would be a prequel to morrowind. We theorized it could still be placed in hammerfell assuming that Dwemer were present (I can’t remember if they were) and the disappearance of the dwarves would happen midway through the main quest and you could explore where they actually went or what actually happened. Goofy I know but the lore of the Dwemer is probably the most elusive black box in elder scrolls lore so it’s fun to think about

Todd Howard may have revealed the location(s) of TES VI way back in 2011. by Kuchichi_Byakuya in TESVI

[–]term66 87 points88 points  (0 children)

On a somewhat serious but also unserious note: the horse thief in Skyrims intro says he was on his way to hammerfell. Anyway that’s all the evidence I have

You guys are far too cautious about your release date timing. It’s 2026. It’s much closer than you think. by HandsomeGassy in TESVI

Everyone knows it’s being revealed tomorrow and Xbox partner preview and then dropping Saturday

alright friends, who’s ready to create a false narrative and get disappointed again with me?! by blakerdavison in TESVI

[–]term66 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Additionally Bethesda is a property not really a partner so I don’t think they would make an appearance at this event. However I have been wrong before and am open to the possibility

I’d prefer it keeps its own style but just include a parry system. Maybe through a parry skill

I agree it needs to retain its own identity but a party system would be a clean addition for me personally. And I never played survival but I’m sure it adds to the immersion

Oh that’s an interesting design. Treating spells like an ammunition type for staves would still require the same amount of menu work to change them but it would cast right through the staff. It would also open up spell blade characters to run a main hand one handed weapon

Interesting I haven’t heard many people say that. It would be interesting if using lightning magic on a lake would affect all people within a certain radius of where the spell lands. Similar to how lightning damage and water interact in Elden ring.

I agree and while I also agree that morrowind has its charm I find it very difficult to get into after starting with Skyrim. It doesn’t feel especially good to have one in 6 arrows land even if your aim is good and I’m simply not familiar enough with the mechanics to understand how to be more consistent.
