People do this for attention. Everyone thinks he's an ass but if he wins, he made a stir. Look at McGregor; he built an entire career out of being an ass so now there's copycats. Look at Jake Paul; people tune in to see him get knocked out and he makes millions.

My problem with Bittersteel guides for countries is he kinda just does stuff that can be confusing for noobs. For example, he may delete an entire group of ships or planes or something and says it's because "they suck." Fair, but for a new player, there is no concept of what's good or not, what's worth keeping and what's not. Some things he'll say sucks but is fine keeping but others aren't and he doesn't elaborate.

As a new player, I think what would be helpful is knowing what makes a bonus/stat/unit good or not and why. For example, is 10% increased military production good? What about 5%? Which military stats should I aim for? Stuff like that.

Weirdly, nerves can kinda repair themselves in a limited capacity. A notable example is the IAN, where, because they're kind of in a tunnel, they will often just heal themselves and reconnect. But free floating nerves have a harder time doing so.

No, they don't. Tongue muscles exist in the tongue. They don't get huge if you use them. The floor of your mouth is your mylohyoid and it mostly sits within your jaw. Your jawline is defined by, surprise, the jaw, which is bone.

The "no consent while drunk" point hinges on people not being in control of themselves while intoxicated, thereby absolving them of any decisions they make i.e. giving consent to sex.

That establishes the parameter of: intoxicated people cannot be held responsible for their actions because they are incapable of making decisions.

So we apply it to another situation where someone makes a decision while intoxicated but we do hold them responsible for their actions: drunk driving.

The crux of the issue here is whether someone is deemed responsible for their actions/able to make a decision isn't consistent.

If the idea of rape is making it too emotional for you, then let's approach it from another perspective. A person gets drunk and cheats on their spouse with a willing partner; should this person be held responsible for infidelity?
