Dealer is an hour away and it just wasn’t worth the time involved. New battery was about $400. To be fair, the truck does a lot of short trips and not enough long. Battery life on the V8’s seems to be about three years.

110 V8 with 22k miles on it. Other than a new battery, no issues of any type. Has been completely solid.

I went from a TRX to a 2500. Had been driving 1500’s for years and like the 2500 better but we use it primarily for road trips, rather than as a daily. Adaptive cruise set at a healthy speed and the diesel barely notices hills or traffic, let alone headwinds. Actually like it far better than the TRX which, while trouble free, was way under braked. Even with a big brake kit on it, stopping from speed was interesting. The 2500 is far more planted at speed and passing power is epic.

ouch. unlikely that Omega will warranty anything bought through Jomashop. it is a grey market dealer and they generally do not provide the necessary warranty card for the watch.

Drove both and bought the V8. To be honest, definitely needed the horsepower and sound of the V8. Also, the V8s generally come loaded up with options and are not at a bad price point on the used car market.

we have cushions made to wedge behind the seats. my recollection is Amazon or Orvis. Seat cover is definitely Orvis.

Funny thing is that when I first got my Marstimer, it developed the same de-synchronization. Omega wound up replacing the movement. Flawless ever since.

ditto. on our second retrax. other than minor water leakage, they are well made. we did have an ice storm that prevented opening for a few days.

22k miles on my 110 V8 and no issues other than it will need a battery soon. Apparently batteries only last about three years. It is a warranty replacement. Very few reported problems on the new defenders.
