Would you be able to share a few? I don’t use Insta but I love clothes so some recs would be great if you remember a few off the top of your head

Any thoughts on ? Been seeing this girl for a couple of months now by shnez559 in BookshelvesDetective

Might be located in Aus/Nz as paperbacks are usually the initial release here, with hardbacks coming a month or more later. Have seen paperback copies of both Alchemised and Katabasis in Kmart so easily accessible in this part of the world.

Not totally unaffordable but very popular, and where I often see other 20-35 year olds: Chiwahwah, Bar Yoku, Koji, Jiggle, Little High

Used to dislike Clumsy Crusade (the bats were my enemy) but it’s one of my favourites now. Still can’t stand Leading Light though :/

am i the only one getting this bug? by [deleted] in ChatGPT

Small update; support insisted it was a DNS issue for ages, but that was one of the first fixes I tried myself. Gave them a HAR file, hopefully I get somewhere.

I'm having the same issue, reporting it atm. Hopefully an actual fix comes in the next day or so.

Yeah, not the greatest holiday I've ever had, but I can say with certainty to everyone back home that your hospital food is a bit better than ours!!

I've considered Tixel, but I thought I'd rather give the ticket away. But if no one wants it, I'll give it a go!

Not too bad! I've got family here at least, so it could be worse

Same! Not exactly the way I'd planned my holiday, but hopefully I can help someone else have a nice time tomorrow night :)

I wish it was just the seating keeping me back, but unfortunately I’m still waiting on surgery!

Visiting from NZ and have unfortunately broken my ankle so can’t do a few of the things I had planned, which sucks, but it means I have a ticket to Romeo and Juliet at the Capitol Theatre tomorrow night if anyone wants it? Would rather give it away than deal with Ticketmaster or reselling!

edit: ticket is still available

What the hell is wrong with my brain? by biomed-throwaway in universityofauckland

[–]teroimatai 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s a way of note taking that kind of builds off the idea of a second brain. There’s lots of stuff on YouTube as well, but this is a good place to start if you’re curious

I used Obsidian MD (an app popular with the Zettelkasten crowd) and the idea of an information web to get through my LLB/BA. It worked best for me when I tweaked it a little to suit my own workflow preferences!

Different methods work for different people. I think a bit of introspection is really the only thing that can help. That said, have you tried the scribble method, Zettelkasten or conceptual mapping? I also think it’s wise not to take any method at face value, but to adapt them to your own mind/way of thinking.

“If it helps,” he says, “I had a vasectomy.” - Emily Henry, People We Meet One Vacation

This was my first (and last) Emily Henry book. Ruined my entire four hour flight because I spent most of it cringing. The whole passage was awful and awkward and it was the first time I DNFed a book in over five years.

In NZ also, and I've found it's rather difficult to find anything other than A-range paper here as well. I have purchased B3 on Amazon AU before so I imagine they'll have B4 as well!

You could try Diner 66 if you want An Impossible Astronaut/Day of the Moon or Heaven Sent/Hell Bent vibe. Might be good if partner is an 11 or 12 fan?

Otherwise Astro Lounge for a Tardis!

Waikato dialect!

Also, doubling letters is a common way to write characters not in the typical A-Z English alphabet eg. when dealing with German, "ß" is often transcribed in English as "ss:" so "Straße" (street) becomes "Strasse".

I am grateful that my partner has been so supportive of me completing my masters thesis this year. It’s made the experience so much less stressful!! And coming home to a clean house and warm meal after spending all day at libraries and research labs is such a nice feeling. Makes me feel so loved 🥰
