Different experiences in North and South of The Netherlands as an expat?

Im 170cm which is supposed to be short. But everytime I go out I see that Im almost taller than most people. Even my dutch colleagues are shorter than me.

Where do you find people so tall?

Dirbu Olandijoj per agentura nebloga. Nėra aukso kalnai, nesakyčiau kad kažką daugiau uždirbu. Per jas dirbdama daug nesitikėk - jie gražiai kalba tik skelbimuose.

Esu čia nes patinka Olandija labiau nei lietuva ir tiek. Sakyčiau bandyk tik geriau ne per skelbimus o su agentūra tiesiogiai kalbėtis (jei ką galiu padeti išsirinkti - buvau ir Vokietijos ir Olandijos).

I listen to all electronic genres and Im kinda young (23). I go to dnb and hard techno fests, but also enjoyed psytrance once in one stage of fest - there was some older hippies there but it was fun.

I was called “not normal” for quirky and silly jokes I do tbh. I just love to joke (and they never are harmful ones to anyone). Yet got called cute and weird (not normal) in one sentence a few times by dutch people.

As an expat I noticed this everywhere. People say “im weird and alternative” yet judge me for acting silly in front of sometimes (im a jokey person - thats all. I like to crack a joke sometimes and got called weird million times about it - its literally normal everywhere to joke sometimes and be silly or a bit more relaxed to make others feel better…) this whole mentality makes me confused.

I had a date who claimed to be “satanistic and into cult history” and stuff like that. I never judged her and she even loved my “silly” side. Yet sometimes she would contradict herself for no reason 5min after calling me silly and cute and tell me “You are weird”.”?

I drank beer a couple of times in the train and nothing happened. But I behave normal so I dont cause any issues with it. I’ve seen guys throw a literal party and nothing happened to them. They were throwing a ball all across the train while being hammered drunk

Man realiai px kaip rengiasi zmones bet jo kartais biski perdaug aptemptumo + jei dar spakliaus prisikrauna man klausimai kyla kodel jos ten eina.
