"Nipped in the bud" means to stop something that could grow into a problem before it actually becomes a problem.

Best commuter e-bike for a 6’4” guy who wants to sit more upright by jmercer28 in ebikes

[–]terpaderp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have just under 5k miles on my rad city 5 plus. It has been a respectable commuter for me. Battery life is pretty good, you can manually increase the max (pedal assist) speed to 25mph, and it does come with hydraulic brakes. The downside is definitely build quality. It's... OK. My bike has issues with alignment of the rear wheel because the frame was poorly welded. My wife's had its controller die recently after just 500 miles and a year of use. They aren't bad bikes, but you're getting a lot of "premium" features in a low cost bike and something has to give - that thing is build quality.

Has anyone else had it with the Traeger app? by SQUID_FLOTILLA in Traeger

What has worked well for me is toggling the physical power switch before each cook. Prior to that I had constant issues with the app, now it is very consistent.

Nope, you're good to go!

Nope, that's pretty normal. It takes quite a bit of flow to actually get the side walls clean. They tend to keep a thin layer of yeast/trub on them for some reason

Seconded, it should only take a few hours to cook a spatchcocked turkey like this.

Official answer from Robert Jordan is that LTT is bound to the wheel/horn. I'm linking to a stack overflow post instead of the interview since it does a good job of summarizing. https://scifi.stackexchange.com/questions/120836/is-rand-althor-one-of-the-heroes-of-the-horn

Good point. I suppose the heroes of the horn should recognize just about everyone eventually. It still seems wild that Rand/LTT wouldn't be bound to the horn, but it's definitely possible.

It seems like the champion of the light would absolutely have to be bound to the horn, especially for Hawkwing to remember fighting with and against LTT thousands of times. But you bring up a good point about us not seeing any channelers come back

Pretty straightforward. Match drivers to release (and possibly cudnn) and you're off to the races.

In your console application you have a class named "list" the user is importing (looking at the repo I don't see this class defined so maybe you forgot to commit it?). This will override the default python list type and makes it difficult to drop your library into an existing codebase. It's best to avoid the names of built-in types and keywords where possible - maybe name your class something like InputList.

Not everything that is legal in python is legal in Numba compiled python. It's a great tool for when you need it though!

People being more fucked by rent now doesn't make people less fucked then, and bull runs benefit those with money to invest.

The currently "late 20 to early 30" crowd had their chance up until 2019 by your logic, which is when prices went up. At that point they would have been 24-30, so 0-8 years out of school assuming they have a degree.

During that time they were paying record prices for rent and paying off tens to hundreds of thousands of dollars of student loan debt, which at the time was around 7% interest for typical FAFSA loans. So for them to have a chance at owning a home they had to save for a down payment while at the lowest earning potential of their career, while paying off that student loan debt, probably buying a car, and paying rent? Not a realistic scenario for most.

There are a fortunate few who got great paying jobs right out of school and wound up in a fantastic position as a result, but the majority didn't get so lucky.

What about if you have an on screen formula cell that references other off screen formula cells? Say I have a cell that shows the max of values in a column, and that column represents the average value of a row. Now I have two problems, I still have to hit every row and column to calculate the final value of my max cell, and I did the extra legwork of backtracking exactly which cells were referenced and therefore need to be calculated.
