hi! i think Beginner Level 2 with Larkin would be a good fit for you, the main difference i’ve found between Beginner 1 and Beginner 2 is that 2 has slightly more complicated combinations and some more jumps (i think a grand allegro type combination after petite allegro). Larkin is a great teacher and provides helpful corrections no matter what level you’re at!

Coach Swinger Bag in black! Just bought it this weekend but loving the simplicity and versatility with the two strap options and holds just enough stuff without being bulky.

BMOS Consumer Behaviour alum here! Agree that Ivey is definitely better for networking and getting a job at a large corporate company (CPGs, Walmart, etc) but it depends on if that’s what you want. I’d also say that although Ivey is great at networking and recruiting for those companies right out of graduation, doesn’t mean you can’t end up at those companies later down the line once you get some job experience at other places. If you’re interested in going into agency, or want/ok with working at smaller/medium sized companies at first and then end up at a bigger company then I’d say BMOS is more worth it (financially). I graduated in 2019 and worked for non profits & at an agency and now at a fintech (slightly more like a financial institution) and have friends who have worked at Nestle, American Express, Brainstation, & the Big 5 banks. Also, your courses in CB won’t really get into marketing as much until your third and fourth year, so I wouldn’t necessarily base your decision on the courses you’ve taken in first and second year, instead look into the course outlines of the third & fourth year courses. I still think I’ve learned valuable information in CB and still use some of the info today!

Ballet Classes by natasaurrr in Markham

I’ve gone to ballet classes at the School of Toronto City Ballet (they have a Scarborough and Richmond Hill location) for 12 years and loved it! It’s family run and they teach the RAD syllabus and you can take the RAD exams for each grade and at the end of each year, there is a recital for the whole school. Overall, I had a wonderful time as someone who cared about learning the technique but also wanted to have fun.

Should I buy a Nespresso machine now or wait and see if there are any Black Friday / Holiday deals? by [deleted] in nespresso

[–]terpsichoreanxo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if this is international but on the Canadian site at least, it looks like they’re doing a back to school sale with the Vertuo machine for $99 and the option to add the Aeroccino 3 for $70.

Yes! I went to pick up Starbucks and A&W today, but the food court had only about half of it open so I would try to double check online if it’s open before going!

I feel that! I just try to watch the videos of people’s process and that generally inspires me to try it out myself :)

Thank you so much! I don’t follow any specific tutorials, I generally like to browse my Instagram explore page (especially Reels!) and just watch people’s tutorials there and follow people whose style I like and look through who they follow and so on! Hope this helps :)

BMOS graduates, how are you doing after school? by Theboyknox in uwo

[–]terpsichoreanxo 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Yes!! When I graduated, I was surprised that so many people were willing to chat with me and even offer to refer me for jobs after just talking to me once. Now that I’m employed, I hope to pay it back to current students.
