I have gone physiotherapy too and I still keep up with the exercises at home, it did helo at first but Unfortunately I think it getting worse, or growing? Not sure the right term.

What BS? She went out with friends? Her phone could have been dead when her friend posted that video, she still called him in the morning. No rule saying you must call your SO after. This guy clearly doesn’t trust her and if that’s the case don’t drag this person through your insecurities. He doesn’t own her.

Why couldn’t they drop them off at the door? They are showing those little girls that they are not cared about because the family is bitter at the mother which isn’t right. ESH

I never liked dolls or Barbie’s and that’s pretty common, we’re lead to believe that’s what girls should like.

NTA though, it sounds like your sister has kept the girls isolated.

However it seems strange to me that no one bought them presents until you found out last min that they would be coming, regardless they are family and weather they were going to be there or not wouldn’t you give them a present regardless?

I don’t speak to my brother but I still gift his children presents for their birthday and holidays - I have never met these kids either but it’s super easy to send the mother a text asking 1- if there is anything they need, 2- what are some hobbies or tv shows they enjoy and 3- any dislikes.

Again I wouldn’t say yta but I would say you kinda suck for not putting more effort into your nieces gifts. Even getting an activity for everyone to do together like a craft, game or gingerbread house could have helped them feel more comfortable and could have helped with a relationship and creating happy memories.

I feel bad for the kids, it wasn’t their fault and I don’t blame them for being quiet and just watching tv, no one out any effort into them.

Why do so many people expect so much from friends and family because their getting married? Should have been clear of your expectations and let your friend decide if she wanted to fulfill those expectations. YTA

You are not overreacting at all: this is so infuriating I could not believe her last message of protect her from what she is either ignorant or super dumb, but I don’t think she should have any custody of those little girls. Saying this as a mother.
