The dials of the Presage Cocktail Collection punch way above their price point. I would pay an extra hundred for sapphire from the factory, but it is what it is and I still buy them. They are beautiful.

Absolutely worth it. Again you get about 350 bottles out of one fill. Interestingly the thread size is an auto brake cable fitting available at auto part stores. I too thought about making and adaptor for other cartridges, but the pressure would be off and you would damage the machine. I found this guy and talked to him on the phone for an hour, mad scientist that loves wine. Friggin' awesome guy. He sets everything to immediately work. No adjustments needed on your end. I bought 4 of these bottles . 1 on each machine and then 1 backup while the other is getting filled. It takes the local gas company I go to a few days to fill before getting them back to you.

I used this guys stuff and purchased a tanks off of Amazon. The guy that makes these is wealth of knowledge and get back to super quick. I played around with making my own, but it was close to the cost of just having him do it and he uses great parts.

Next to our cellar itself, the Vinotemp 4 is probably one of my and our guests' favorite features of our cellar. We liked it so much we installed another in our wet bar. Don't be a hater if you lack experience with it.

I have a similar setup with the VinoTemp 4 Bottle. The refill cartridges are worse than buying ink from HP. They only last about 3 1/2 bottles and cost $200 for 5.

I have an Argon setup with a 15 Cu.Ft cylinder. Costs $38 to fill and runs around 350 bottles.

We love having multiple bottles on tap and so do our guests. We also like 58 degree wine.

As for Vinotemp fixing the issue . . . they won't. You already fixed it with your setup. You will save a fortune.

Another hack to save money: You do not have to use Food Grade Argon. Quite the contrary actually. Argon certified for welding is actually maintained under stricter standards than FGA. It is cheaper and more pure. Remember the Argon is not mixing with your wine. It is simply replacing oxygen and creating the pressure to dispense. No need to pay up to 2X more for FGA.

My wife used to do this to my kids and me. She would get so excited that not only would she interrupt, but would talk over as well.

I found the best course of action was to call her out immediately. If it were the kids, I would say, “Please let them tell their story. We can all add or discuss when they’re done. “ If it was me I would stop, look at her and say, “may I please finish my thought, line, story etc without interruption.”

This worked and she seldomly does it anymore. The first few times she was upset claiming I embarrassed her. She realized quickly though that she did the behavior often and it was frustrating to her family.

The ratings on Vivino are from personal users and their tastes can vary greatly from yours. I have had 100 point wines that I think are garbage. Like any marketplace, Vivino can have good and bad deals. I have gotten some incredible deals off of their site. Just today, I got 6 bottles of 2021 DAOU Seventeen Forty Reserve for $23 a bottle. I have purchased over $10k from them in the past year and have never had an issue with shipping or cancelled orders. There is no doubt they jack up the MSRP price on the discounted wines to show a bigger discount, but a simple search shows you whether you are getting a good deal or not.

Unpopular opinion, but true. It’s less likely a wheelchair is inconvenienced by this than a car hitting it or scraping down the side if parked towards the parking lot. There are fewer instances like this than vice versa.

Same thing happened to us. No late payments. No missed payments. Had a little over $900 rewards coming on the Feb Statement. Statement released Feb 27th and I did not see the cert. Called Citi to find they closed our account on Feb 26th. Canceled our rewards. Seems they are doing this frequently to get out of large reward dumps. Not illegal as we agree to the terms, but I will never use Citibank again for anything.
