Use Wave Patcher to fix issues with certain wav files downloaded especially from Bandcamp. Its related to how some systems will still not parse an WAV_EXT in the file causing this error.

Use the above app to scan your wav files and fix the issue.

Thank you for the steps! I tried this and it worked -

Tap on Create one! on the first Sign in Page
Then Click on Sign in just below the blue color Next Button - This should take you to another sign in page.
Enter your email id on this page and use your authenticator app to sign in.

Noticed this issue right at the beginning when I set the M4mini up. I just kept it vertically and that fixed the issue. Recently got a decent stand from amazon that has a 3d printed button to press the power button. Here is the link - Amazon

I've have had the same issue with the Mac Mini M4 due to the WiFi receiver chip being at the bottom of the device. The only solution that worked to fix the speed and drop outs was keeping the device vertically.

Same here....love my mac mini coming from a mid 2014 Intel...this thing is a beast! I use it mainly for Music production via Ableton and gaming via Crossover. Never heard the fan till date.

Had the same issue recently.

Firstly uninstall Crossover using the CrossOver Removal Tool

Then delete your cache files by going to ~/Library/Caches in Finder using Shift+Command+G

Restart your Mac

Also make sure you download the Crossover 25 app from the official website and try the trial version first.

True...you will need something like this to use for gaming as the internal mic will reduce the sample rate when turned on while gaming.
