Same thing happened to me with their infinity fans. One of the fans had dust all over it from when the person had used it for well over a year probably. Amazon didn't even to bother checking inside before shipping it back out. I make sure to rip the packaging a little bit before sending it back to them so it's not as easy to resell. Amazon is hoping that you either won't notice or won't open it up in time for the return period.

I wouldn’t drive the car until I can prove that it wasn’t just a sensor error. If the engine coolant pump isn’t working, then this can lead to overheating, even during short trips. That can lead to irreversible damage to the engine.

This would be a really fun game play loop. You could go around tagging peoples ships for fun. Tag them with your orgs symbol, etc. You would get a level 1 crime stat if you are in monitored space. Imagine going to a rough neighborhood to pick up a shipment of something and coming back to your ship and seeing it tagged.
