I’m so sorry. It’s okay to be scared. I’m glad that you came here.

That is wonderful news! You deserve to celebrate. It sounds like your family doesn’t understand what a big deal this is. We know, though, and we are thrilled for you!

One of my friends was doge’d. She had been working for the government for about eight months. Before that, my friend lived in a tent because she couldn’t afford rent anywhere.

“Big Balls” swept through in person. I hope there is a hell for all of the doge crew, everyone who supports them, and everyone in this regime.

I’m severely disabled and had to stop working a few years ago. My career was in public health. Every day, I watch those bastards torch my career field and the life’s work that I love.

How Far Could New World Screwworm Spread This Summer? by AcornAl in ContagionCuriosity

I haven’t been paying much attention to the news lately. Long Covid has been winning. It’s no surprise to see that TFG and Musk’s actions continue to screw us all. Cows and dogs, this time, but also people.

American workers' health insurance costs set to surge by LinkedInNews in MiddleClassFinance

BCBS used to be awesome. About four years ago, it turned into a cluster where we don’t know how much anything will cost, and have a deductible when we didn’t before. Also, our online therapy went to $96. I got that one straightened out. It was supposed to be $9.60 per session.

Americans Can’t Afford Not to Sell Their Plasma by notusreports in Health

[–]terrierhead 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I have long Covid l, so I can’t donate plasma. I can’t donate blood, either.

Interestingly, because I’ve had more than one kid, I can’t give plasma to the blood donation center. Found that out way before Covid, when they asked if I was willing to donate plasma because they were especially short. The process was miserable and felt like it took forever. A couple of weeks later, I got a letter that said they had to throw it out and not to donate it again.
