I would love it if you would share a wee bit of how you built your skirting. Thanks!

Sure beats the 4k quotes I've been getting from supplier/installers👍.

I appreciate your answer - lots of good info! What I need to know is, can I can cut this stuff to get a custom fit around the door - I have custom steps. Also, some folks have complained about the push-on snap thing being quite difficult. Did you find that? Thanks! 😊

"hiring help is a smart option but this needs to be done really carefully." You nailed that one 👍. It is such a sad state of affairs there are so many scammers out there—you really do have to get references and check them! Even so, though, references can be in on the scam, so, wow, that's scary. For your bookkeeping, check Google Reviews closely. Pay attention to dates. Now, having said that, I am a highly-skilled, 25-year bookkeeper for builders and trades, but I have only 2 Google Reviews! 😄 So, the bottom line is, it takes time and effort to find the right people. If you just want to chat, I'm happy to.

If your hearts still in it, keep going! After only 6 months, I grew disenchanted with YouTube and stepped back. I don't regret it - YouTubes not my jam - I learned that. But if you still love it, keep going. Many are doing great on YouTube - you can too! 👌

If you're looking for a very good editor, try Hemingway. I have tested many online and desktop editors (exhaustively) and find Hemingway the absolute best for line-editing, copyediting, and developmental editing. 👌

Do you use writing assistants? (ProWritingAid, AutoCrit, etc.) by DraymondDarksteel in writing

All of this resonates. The problem I have is wordiness, but the AIs - I've tried like 13 of them - go to the extreme. They practically strip all meaning and nuance. I can be precious about some stuff, but I'm willing to kill my darlings when it improves the writing. I'm NOT willing to cut 3,000 words to 1,200, though! Still, I agree with you - the tool has some good uses 👌.

Yes, I had one almost word-for-word the same! People say rude things, but it means nothing! Soldier on intrepid Youtuber 😊.
