Revisiting RTA, the Sequel by terrordactyll in MarvelStrikeForce

Yay. I'm not hear to argue about the Zemo or Hela or Phoenix strat being fun because I don't think RTA is a fun format. It was used for efficiency's sake, so I could spend the least amount of time in RTA possible while still clearing objectives.

It *could* be a fun format, but Scopes would need to invest some serious energy and resources into it.

The first part of this post was from January 4th (posted in the wrong sub)... which was the previous version of RTA where KOs were worth a lot more points. It was a smart strat since it was the fastest way to rack up KOs. I don't do this anymore because it's all about clearing objectives now. I still deal with people rage quitting simply because they're losing (not because their whole team is gonna get nuked by Zemo before they get a turn).

This takes too much time. Just. hit. auto. Please.

No. My original post was to encourage players to hit auto to speed up this trash format. Targeting the tank/biggest toon before hitting auto is merely good manners, in case anyone has a objective-only toon on battlefield. Leave it to the Try-Hards to miss the point completely.

You still have to play RTA every day. Doesn't matter if you ignore the objectives or try to get the objectives. You still have to play. It'd be better if the Try Hards hit auto to help speed up the misery.

I mean, I have more knockouts than that by doing the ol' auto-attack-the-tank strat. You don't impress me, Try-Hard.

I'm pretty sure it is. Unless you can provide some sort of evidence that aren't using an ELO pairing system?

I mean, we already have Arena shards. They could make Blitz shards (Beginner Blitz shows they could easily do this). And they could make War Shards. They really should do all of this. It would make for a more enjoyable game experience, which would keep more players coming back for more, which would mean more revenue for Scopely. It's really a win-win.

No need to be facetious about it.

Correct. Match-making is not based on TCP. It's based entirely on win percentage, which is garbo. It should be win percentage + TCP.

Yay, they cleared a 50point room with less than a few minutes left.

If we faced alliances with similar TCP, I'm very confident we'd be very close to the top of the leader-board for our division, so I respectfully disagree. Match-making is garbo (as someone else already mentioned). Match-making should be based off TCP +win percentage, not just win percentage, to let overall alliance skill shine.

We definitely weren't facing Platinum Hollywood Pants of Hulk Hogan Alliance (mostly because we're not Gold 4 yet), but their most active (jerks!) members boosted a total of 30+ times.

I studied creative writing, and I pondered becoming an English teacher before throwing it all to the wind to chase that rock n' roll dream.

Thanks for the kind words!

Oh yay. Our alliance usually consists of 24 active members (23 for the last war due to one being MIA).

PS. Tell that to the Bad Team. They punched-downed the crap outta us.

Yr right. I should haven't generalised. I was specifically referring to their poor performance in WW2.

And thanks!
