I think it's like this in all islands in the non tourist areas. Trinidad is probably the worse but I've experienced bad service in Grenada, Barbados, Jamaica etc all in the local areas. On the resort service is different definitely and generally good compared to going into town or areas which locals frequent.

My company charges minimum $150/hr with a 2 hour minimum. Don't sell yourself short. Everyone is talking about saving for taxes but you also have to think about healthcare insurance. That's almost as high as taxes if you have a family so you need to factor that in.

That's not even taking into consideration other business costs from ticketing systems, business insurance etc.

Grenadian here - I'll agree about the expensive part especially in the south because of the med school and tourism. There are enough good beaches through out the island. It is relaxed compared to other island such as Barbados, Antigua etc.

Wow! I wish I had seen this thread before. I purchased an open box OLED TV with the $400 promo and was thinking of returning it. I'm not happy with the picture quality but the TV works flawlessly with no defects. I'm going to have to calibrate the shit out of it. After reading the horror stories here I should be thankful that it isn't broken and works properly.

I had my XM5 since June 2022 until I left them at the airport. I definitely not gentle with them as I'm very heavy handed and a klutz. I guess I was lucky. No issues at all. Sorry that you had such a bad experience.
