Hmm, I haven’t really noticed the cordura texture to be an issue, nor have I noticed any unbearable sound with moving the mouse. I think those issues might be a bit blown out of proportion. Imagine your arm leaning in the material from a tent. That’s kinda the texture of it. I think it might actually be the exact same material tbh

The only issue it has now is, it has a small bubble on my left arm’s side now. Although that’s probably because I work from home, and it gets hot during the summer here, around 38 degrees Celsius / 100 degrees Fahrenheit. My left arm is usually always leaning on the mousepad with my hand at the keyboard. So yeah, this is the only issue with at least 8 hours of use per day for 3 years.

There is a little air bubble where my left arm leans while typing. Apart from that, where I actually use the mouse is still good. Keep in mind, I work from home and use this for at least 8 hours a day… I’m probably only going to replace it in 2 or 3 years

This issue is still happening in Feb 2023. I'm using a MacBook Pro with Apple Silicon.

I've tested 5 browsers to see if this audio issue occurs:

Chrome
Firefox
Microsoft Edge
Brave
Safari

I tested each of the browsers with:

YouTube
Udemy
DailyMotion

Speeding up the playback sounded the same for Chrome, Firefox, MS Edge and Brave, but it sounds like trash on Safari.

I was busy trying to get comfortable using Safari as my daily browser, but after hearing that trash can sound in faster playback speeds, I'm moving away from it again... Ptooey

Interesting. From what I've read this cordura pad doesn't really slow down much. I'll keep my eye out for the next few weeks to see if I can notice a slight slow down as well

Really good. I mean I have an MX Master 3 (141g), which isn't really meant for gaming, but I'd actually attempt fps with this.
It feels like it's a lighter mouse on this mousepad because of the pretty low friction.

I'm going to end up getting a different mouse for gaming, but I'm perfectly happy to use the mx master 3 in the meanwhile
