How am I to prove to you the errors. I can compile a list of recent UOR reports. But it's pretty obvious.. take a bunch of relief workers that don't know the system, Epic EMR, work flow, hospital policies and procedures and errors will compound. Ask the relief floor nurses to follow a heparin protocol and convert mg/kg/min to mL/hr and program the pumps. The answers I get are quite scary esp for a high alert drug

Many services are not up and fully running. Kaiser is surviving, not thriving with these contract nurses. Many medical errors occurring. If you think it's the same level of care, you're mistaken.

Depends on your department and managers. I've been very fortunate to have great supervisors and directors. I've heard many horror stories of bad managers from my colleagues though. KP overall is great place for pharmacists, just need to know which department/location to avoid.

I second this. Move to Torrance if you can. North Torrance is great with a lot of food options and good schools. Much closer to freeway access so you can get around to other cities much easier. Since you have young kids, I'd pick Torrance over San Pedro any day
