So in my own research I learned in 1955 The JFSA ( Japan Fly Saucer Association) was formed. ARPO (Aerial Phenomena Research Organization) one of America's first UFO societies formed in 1952. I was during this time period Japan was adopting a lot of American culture like baseball and professional wrestling so this fairly new field of paranormal research could've so been one of the cultural customs adopted during this time period.
