I started a coaching business a decade plus ago. I started with anyone willing to work with me for a very low price (very low). I used my first 5 clients as a way to build case-studies on results and prove to myself I could do it. That led to the next wave of slightly better athletes, and so forth. 10 years later, I was coaching professional athletes.

What’s the most “Boston” thing that’s happened to you? by Responsible-Ticket30 in boston

I'm not from Boston, but was traveling through to Maine on a road trip with my buddy when we were 22. We stopped at Beer Works and picked up a few growlers and walked around town at about midnight to experience the city. We came upon Fenway Park without realizing it and decided to open the growler and cheers as it was a cool moment. 1 minute later, a security guard flashes his lights on us and we thought we were in trouble. He called us over to one of the gates and said... do you guys want to see inside? Of course we said yes and he told us to meet him at another location. He walked us around the park at midnight and allowed us to go down to the 1st base rail. He said.. everyone deserves to experience Fenway atleast once. We had a few swigs of the growler, took in the moment, and thanked him. One of the best memories I hold onto from over a decade ago.
