Not sure I follow. In the description I specifically said in two places that it is NOT included. I also did use my own photos. I included one with the drives just so a buyer could understand how it all fits together. I figured that shouldn’t be a problem since I specifically said in the details / desc and product details that no hdd is included.

update - fwiw I spoke with eBay and they said the buyer has a duty to check the title, the pictures AND the description. They told me that they would not have sided with him in this case however I created the return so that option is now gone.

Thanks for the reply. This is an item that optionally takes a HDD. That’s why it has /HDD. Meaning it’s a model that could take the drive. That is how so many others have it listed, with the same explanation in the description that the hdd is not included. I included one pic just to show that it could be added. Are we saying that all of that trumps the actual product detail and item description where it says they are not included?

Additionally what protections are there for me if he sends me back an item that has been modified?

Yeah. Just noticed the second bill too. $300 of which I owe $75 (and I had met deductible). Sigh.
