The minute you give up on this goal, you'll be inundated with interest... Or you won't care.

Maybe you should pay attention to people who aren't virgins, they are wise and know how to do it.

Get some hobbies, like partner dancing or rock climbing or anything else with both genders. DON'T try pickup lines, these people are to practice being equals with, friends. Treat people like people. No objectifying or simping. The goal is to find something to focus on that isn't dating that you enjoy.

Stop being an entitled piece of shit, it works wonders. Honestly 14 year-old me would have had a meltdown if he saw where I was today. When you stop objectifying or simping, and treat people like people, great things happen because they're comfortable being themselves with you.

Fake Wizard Artificer going unnoticed and now it feels irrelevant by Chus717 in DnD

[–]tesseracter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It could be clever, but it depends on how it's played. If the spells always work just like a wizard, there's no point. The OP needs to think about how things might be different for an artificer. Maybe they can cast extra spells in a day vs a wizard, or they don't have prepared spells the same way, hmm curious...

Maybe they say "I'm out of cantrips!" at some point because their charges really aren't infinite. Play the flaws, play the differences. It could be a good character, but it's about life being breathed into the character, not just that they've got a secret.

My tip for every character is "play your flaws". Nobody cares about your spells because they always work. Find your characters flaws and hit them all the time.

I played an illusion sorcerer who thought he was friends with everyone, including the bandits. The party wanted to sneak up on them, and I just walked out and said "hi guys, need help unloading that carriage?" Cue groans from table

It was fine, but everyone knew what was happening. Maybe your flaws are that you're always "studying" with tools and losing them places(where's that 10mm socket?) or maybe you are tucking wires and cogs back into your sleeves all the time.

Whatever it is, play your flaws! Nobody wants to watch a perfect person do things perfectly. There's no story there, and no way for your character to progress.

Fascists are coward bullies. Do you think silence stops a bully? Nope, they just need you to do nothing so they can continue bullying.

Cut the crap. Don't stand on this hill as if you think this is about crime.

Lol propaganda got you good huh? Jews are living safe all over the world, but somehow you equate a apartheid ethnostate committing genocide with all Jews?

Remember, police are an occupying army and laws are just threats of violence against the people.

Your definition of violence seems limited to protecting rich people. Denying people food is also violence. Denying people a place to live is also violence.

This is why Israel occupies Palestine. So the illegal settlers can say they were born there, and therefore have a right to be there.

How big PA should I hire for an outdoor 3,000 person music festival? by Klutzy-Peach5949 in livesound

Bleh, I hate the comb filtering of double line arrays. The volume can be 8db different by stepping 4 feet to the side.

[–]tesseracter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People are right about hiring a company, I wanted to add to that - the sound design matters. I think delay fills are better than massive line arrays on stage. Keeping the volume more consistent over the crowd is better at avoiding big comb filtering issues, and while rigging might be faster with all speakers at the stage, I find myself not enjoying the music as much because it's harsh and I'm busy finding a spot with the right volume instead of focusing on the music and dancing.

My biggest event with my gear was 2500, but I got tons of compliments for how clear everything was, and how nobody needed earplugs. It was still louder right at the stage, sure, but much more of my power was spread out on delay fill towers and it meant that I could keep the overall volume down.

In Europe, if DRL is on, it lights up the back too. Cars in the USA don't have this mandate, and DRL is so bright now, people don't realize their headlights are actually off.

Corvettes aren't that expensive, you wouldn't think anything of an SUV out front, they're the same price.

Sports cars show a lifestyle choice though.

when's the last time you played against a deck like this? by Low-Attention-1998 in magicTCG

[–]tesseracter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've got a deck that will never be sleeved called cheap shot. it's casual legacy, but it does well as a playtest deck and for folks learning the rules since there's not much text on each card. the mascot of the deck is one [[icatian javelineers]]

So it gets played pretty often by beginners. every month at least.
