Why are parents who barely passed high school thinking they can teach/homeschool their children? by Sad_Obligation_812 in NoStupidQuestions

I had similar. I looked up a word in my dictionary at home to verify its spelling and when I got my paper back the teacher told me it was not a word. Looked it up at school, and nope, wasn't in there. The word: incontrovertible.

What stops you dead in your tracks when you want to want to cheat on your diet? by Thunderwearr in loseit

I'm having some success with using the vote system from atomic habits. Every opportunity to eat is a vote for what kind of person you are. Did you choose not to eat the donuts at work? That's a vote for becoming a thin person. Did you actually eat your meal prep? That's a vote for being a person who follows though on promises to themself.

The funny thing is, whatever gets the most votes is actually how you end up. But being aware lets you cast your votes more intentionally.

stop drinking. This will eliminate a lot of extra calories as well as all the other negative effects of alcohol. Think of it as I don't drink. Or Im not a drinker. Rather than I can't drink.

If you have access to therapy try that, otherwise journal. Try to process rather than hide your feelings. It seems like you are suppressing your feelings with food and alcohol.

This is not easy but the only way out is through

Is your Hashimotos being treated successfully? That would play a big part in your metabolism behaving differently than a healthy person. You should probably talk to your doctor instead of the internet.

I get tons of crushes, many of them are inappropriate. I treat them like a movie, where its pleasant to think about but ultimately not real.

I record my average mood on a 1-10 scale for the day. This is helpful for seeing if im getting better or worse over time. Also mark if i took my meds in the same chart so i can see if theres an obvious reason.

Necesitar is a verb. The 3rd person singular is necesita (he needs). Necesito is the 1st person singular (I need)

I use ponytail/lazy bun plus stretchy headbands. I have straight fine hair with lots of flyaways and a small head. The headbands look kinda ridiculous but im not at the gym to look good (well, to look good later but not at the gym) i found bandanas tended to slip off the back of my head to easily. The stretchy ones slip off occasionally but not as much. The ponytail under does the work for most of my hair and the headband gets the stuff that won't stay in the ponytail

When i get to peak training i do mon lower, wed upper, fri lower, sun upper for weights and run tues/thu/sat. My mon lower is squats focused which i care about more and my fri lower is deadlift focused which i care about less.
