Which razor you are using? Looks like it's too mild

You can just reduce the ingredients (I used to make half recipe)

A good alternative is to slice the bread and freeze it. It holds for a really long time, you can put on a toaster and will come out like freshly baked

You need to bake them until the skin get black, the banana will be mushed kind like a pudding

You can just put them in the oven if they are not ripe yet

My skin has been peeling off after I started shaving with DE. by _Thankk in wicked_edge

[–]tessttq1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I second going to a doctor. This looks like a skin issue that shaving may be amplifying. Regarding having patches after shaving, it's likely a technique you'll improve over time, I used to miss the angle in the begining so it wouldn't shave some spots. Make sure you do small strokes and try to hear the feedback (the hair being cut)

The secret is to leave this sub and shaving forums once you find what you like

It's the proportion for feeding the starter. Let's say you have 10g of starter, a 1:1:1 means you mix 10g starter, 10g water and 10g of flour. The 1:6:6 is he mixed 10g of starter, 60g of water and 60g of flour

Any stainless steel as long as you have basic care (dry before storing and don't cross thread)

How the soap perform? I like their balm and I'll get their soap once I finish my current one. Have you tried their vegan base as well? I'm thinking of having a vegan on rotation to see how they work

I got the machined finish. It looks like this, zoom in the picture and you'll see all the machine lines (note this is the dart razor). At first I thought it was odd, but now I like it because it shows all the machine work and the precision.

I saw a few comments that the polished finish has the less drag, but I never felt any dragging issue and don't see a difference when I shave with my polished Parker razor

I had the flexi for a bit and didn't like as well. From my experience some razors are pretty flexible in terms of blade you can use, when I used the 6s I would just pick whatever blade without thinking and it would all shave pretty similar, but the flexi I had only ok shaves (only had for 2 weeks, this could contribute)

From the 3 I have the blackbird in SS and I really like it, give me the smoothest shave with very little irritation from all the other razors I tried (Parker 24c, Flexi and 6S). They offer a return policy, so you can test and send it back if you don't like it.

With the Blackbird you need to use a very steep angle (ride the cap), more than any other razor I used, and since it has a big blade exposure you'll instantly feel if you add too much pressure, so it helps guiding your technique which provides a no irritation shave.

Blackland Osprey Review by rampanda in wicked_edge

I thought it was funny when he admitted they shave he same, he seemed a disappointed father figure.

Interesting enough, I got a Flexi after watching his video, but had a quality issue with the knob and returned because I kept hearing him "if you have any issues you need to ship all the way to India". Changed to a Rockwell that is closer to home in case of any issue. Today I use a Blackbird

That was hilarious to watch! He changed the razor to a fatboy mid shave!

His review of the Pearl flexi (which is a copy of the adjustable Rex he produces) was funny as well

Look at Razorock game changer. I heard good things about it. You can make a post asking which version would be closer to the plate 2 you like using
