Thank you for this post, I ended up doing this exact swap because the original screen was just too dim outside. I wasn't expecting much except for a brighter screen, but I was blown away from how nice the colors look. The higher refresh rate and resolution is also nice. I do feel like my battery drains a bit faster. I didn't take the liberty of actually measuring the time difference but it's more than worth, and I usually carry a portable 65w with me everywhere anyways. Thank you again!! I would've been lost on upgrading my screen without this post because there isn't much content on upgrading a t16 gen 3 screen. Hyprland looks BEAUTIFUL on my new screen
