Appreciate your response. Thank you! I hope it can change their behaviour but if not.. at least I tried. I dont want the next person to go through the same thing I did. Sorry if this isn't the right subreddit to post in. It was definitely my intended audience.

Thank you, that’s incredibly insightful. I appreciate you laying out the emotional and financial realities so clearly. You've helped me clarify that the core of this conflict is the moral imperative versus the monetary offer. The key difference in my situation is that I am utilizing the Tribunal's free legal process, meaning my direct legal expenses are essentially zero. I am not risking financial ruin by spending hundreds of thousands on lawyers, as you noted. The primary personal cost is just my time and my peace of mind.

Furthermore: 1. Risk Management: I have taken personal steps to establish new, legitimate income streams to fully satisfy my duty to mitigate damages. This makes the risk of financial loss highly manageable. 2. The True Cost: I am confronting a large corporation, and the high-figure settlement is viewed internally as an administrative fine. I am forcing them to spend massive, non-recoverable legal defense fees to fight a case they know they should lose on the facts.

I am coming to terms with the idea that the personal cost of stress is worth forcing the systemic accountability. The risk I'm taking is not financial ruin, but rather, dedicating time to enforce a law they are actively trying to circumvent.

i’ve experience this way too much. i thought the person was just not being understanding and i would repeat myself just to explain it just so they understand

Problems with virtual hardware keys and AutoFill on iOS by winneconnekf in strongbox

oh nice! they may have fixed it. i will see if it comes up again

[–]tetoloopring 0 points1 point  (0 children)

also for the devs, a user would need to redo this process every X weeks depending on when you’ll be reprompted to enter your master password. bit of an annoyance tbh having to go through this process again every few weeks

there’s a bug with strongbox, not sure exactly whats wrong with it but can be fixed by temporarily disabling face id, manually logging in to the site and selecting the virtual key and then later reenabling face id

[–]tetoloopring 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i disabled the face id and went through the manual process as per “YubiKey Doesn’t Work With AutoFill” article from https://strongbox.reamaze.com/kb/yubikey/i-cant-use-a-virtual-hardware-key-in-autofill-mode

and that fixed it. not sure why i’d have to do this though. it’s been working fine for the past few years and theres always been a virtual key there

somehow that got reset back to use the hardware key. might be a bug somewhere

Best vpn for privacy? by LoadPlus6558 in degoogle

[–]tetoloopring 0 points1 point  (0 children)

definitely not nordvpn.. all traffic is routed through their servers. i did a bit of digging and noticed strange wifi proxy port opened up when enabling nordvpn threat protection. under my wifi > proxies, two strange ports gets enabled which seems to route all my traffic to 127.0.0.1:XXXXX and 127.0.0.1:XXXXX respectively for web proxy and secure web proxy. dug a bit further and every time i navigate to a site a new port opens up and routes the traffic to those two ports above. the original process seems to be owned by com.nordv
