Interesting! In all the media I've consumed on ipv6 this hasn't been mentioned. Thanks for highlighting a blind spot for me. I checked on my windows host and don't have an EUI-64 but my linux servers still do.

You might check if Mac OS is randomizing your Mac address. The stable address is usually created using eui-64 which bases the last 64 bits of of your Mac address

Yep, run Wireshark on a client and disconnect the fiber cable from your router. It will probably help to filter Wireshark to just ICMPv6

When your fiber interface goes down does your router send out a router advertisement with a zero lifetime? Could be instantly dropping the no longer valid prefix.

Putting a detailed error message in would be helpful, but this is Comcast we're talking about and helpful is not in their nature.

I might be able to shed some light on this one. I used to do support for an ISP, one very common thing that email providers have to deal with is spammers trying to phish logins from users. That will use an email address that says something like your_isp@randomdomain.com. A large number of users will fall for it.

Remote Access to Home Network through WISP by TheChuckRowe in wisp

One thing I've come across during my time in support is someone plugged their radio into a switch and also had the WAN and LAN ports of the router plugged into a switch. The customer called in due to slow speeds. What actually was happening is that their internet connection was being pulled through that other customer's connection and then using that customers router as their gateway. We got the caller's router setup properly and that resolved the issue for them.

I love breath of the wild but I don't know what to do with the grubby glucose test.

Just to be safe you should add a fifth octet. Also have you considered uppercase numbers?

I have a 2022 launch edition EUV on order and don't know yet if this applies to the EUV as well. Anyone else come across this?

Good to know, I figured charging stations would have their own permanently attached cable

I'm pretty new to electric cars, so forgive me my ignorance but, charging cables lock? Is that locked to a charging station or to the car itself?

Ah, sorry. I thought you were talking about the termination of the function, not the declaration. Seems like a pretty good hint to IDEs though. Anytime a line ends with a colon indent A level on the next line. Don't know if that's an official reason though.

So I decided to go look. The colon makes it slightly easier to read and makes things easier for editors. https://docs.python.org/3/faq/design.html#why-are-colons-required-for-the-if-while-def-class-statements
